A short drive to many beaches, the coastal towns of Hythe and Folkestone (with its Harbour and Pier) and under a mile from Port Lympne Animal Reserve. It is also near many vineyards incl Gusborne and Chapel Down.

Just over an hour from London, find yourself in the heart of the English countryside with beautiful walks, the coast, and historic towns on your doorstep. Lyminge is five miles from the seaside in Hythe. It has a Chemist, Doctors' surgery, a village store, Chinese restaurant, Indian take-way, a Tea Room - which does very nice breakfasts . There are 2 good pubs nearby - the Gatekeeper in Etchinghill and the Tiger in Stowting. Dogs are welcome - one medium size or two small ones.

Featuring exposed beams, wattle and daub walls and many original features including staddlestones and a handcrafted spiral staircase leading to a mezzanine sleeping area, the granary has a lovely feel and is very light, warm and cosy.

There is plenty to do in the local area with the Royal Military Canal, Port Lympne zoo, Folkestone Harbour Arm, and the beaches of Hythe and Dymchurch all close by.

It is surrounded by the lovely Kent countryside where you can ramble and refresh yourselves by perhaps ending the day in one of the great pubs cosy by a log fire in Winter or in Summer in an English garden. Historic town of Canterbury is nearby but beach is only a short drive away too. Being just over an hour from London and 10 minutes from the Euro tunnel its ideal for a 'quick stop off' or a 'tranquil get away'.
