Absolutely loved our stay! We were 5 adults plus a 1yo so we loved that there was a large living area down stairs for her to play with toys, plus a baby gate on the stairs. The rooms are very spacious and we felt right at home with everything we needed, it was very warm and cosy. We were there over new years and the neighbours let off a fireworks show around the streets which was fun to see since we were just relaxing at home! The washer & dryer were very handy but will say the dryer took a few rounds to dry our clothes - could be us translating the dryer incorrectly though 😂 The location was good - it’s about a 15 min walk to the ferry then a 15 min ferry to get to central station. Or a 10 min bus then 10 min train into central area. Not the closest stay to the central area but well located for the price! To stay closer would have been expensive. But fine if you are ok for 30 mins travel in each day which was ok for us. The ferry is free, and busses/trains are cheap anyway! 😊

Tine e la sua famiglia ha accolto me e i miei amici nel migliore dei modi dandoci tutto l’aiuto e le info possibili. La casa è un paradiso, per i tuoi giorni qui sei catapultato nell’autentica vita di un olandese nella classica e originale casa a punta con le scale strette!!😍 È proprio quello che cercavo. Servizi della casa perfetti. Abbiamo utilizzato le bici a disposizione per arrivare alla stazione di Zandjk e prendere lo sprinter per Amsterdam. Comodo. Fornisce anche i lucchetti per legare le bici alla stazione o dove si vuole. Tutto questo sempre accompagnato dai fantastici animali nella zona circostante che rendevano tutto ancora più autentico e magico 💚 TORNEREMO!!!! 🙏🏻

La casa di Elsbeth è molto bella e confortevole. Ha 2 giardini, uno davanti alla casa e uno sul retro, il posto auto e l interno della casa è molto curato, il tutto in un paesino delizioso a pochi minuti da Amsterdam ( bus a 5 minuti a piedi) o dai favolosi paesi di Marken, Volendam, Edam. Inoltre eravamo in compagnia di un dolce gattino e di 3 galline. Fantastico

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einer Wohngegend ab vom Trubel, aber sehr gut angebunden mit Tram und Bus. Gemütlich und genug Platz zu viert. Mark war sehr freundlich, gut und schnell zu erreichen. Obwohl er während unseres Aufenthalts nicht in der Unterkunft war, war es genau das „ursprüngliche“ Airbnb-Erlebnis: zu Gast bei sympathischen, freundlichen, interessanten und interessierten Menschen. Sehr gerne ein nächstes Mal!

Die Unterkunft war ruhig gelegen. Das Häuschen war sehr sauber und nett eingerichtet. Man hat sich somit gleich wohlgefühlt. Victor und seine Frau waren sehr freundlich und immer ansprechbar. Die Unterkunft kann man uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es gibt unweit vieles schönes zu erkunden, wie z. B. den Ortskern von Edam oder die Promenade von Volendam. Nach Amsterdam unbedingt mit dem Bus fahren. Super einfach und man ist ganz schnell im Stadtzentrum.

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten mal bei Andréia und es war genauso wundervoll wie beim ersten mal. Die Lage am Wasser ist ein Traum. Die Wohnung ist optimal ausgestattet und blitzsauber. Man kann wunderbar seine Ausflüge planen oder einfach nur entspannt am Wasser sitzen und angeln. Andréia ist eine so herzliche und liebevolle Gastgeberin. Ich könnte hier noch weiter schwärmen aber ich glaube es gibt nicht mehr zu sagen als dass wir ein drittes mal wiederkommen werden.

Gerdien’s lovely home worked so well for our 5 adult 8 day stay. In Dutch terms it’s very “gezellig”—cozy. The bedrooms are roomy and beds very comfortable. We especially appreciated the living room/ dining area—is a great common space. Beautiful back yard. The kitchen is well appointed for any cooking needs and coffee maker works well. Appreciated access to the washer and dryer. The home’s centrally located—close to restaurants, shops, train station, and importantly the Rood bakery just down the street. Gerdien is a responsive and helpful communicator. We highly recommend this property.

Great place, was even better than the photos. It’s in a quiet peaceful neighbourhood, but close enough to downtown that it was easy to get everywhere. Host was always responsive and answered our questions very quickly.

The location was amazing. Right in the centre of Amsterdam Mario was a great host. Very informative and helpful The apartment itself was clean, tidy and a good size. Very happy that we chose this and would recommend to anyone

Nice quiet neighborhood, loved the added touch of fresh tulips!

Nous avons passé un long week-end en famille à Amsterdam chez Dorien et Jochem. un loft incroyable ! tout était parfait. Comme chez nous, mais en mieux pour tout... un espace pour les parents en rez-de-chaussée avec grande chambre et salle d'eau. 3 chambres à l'étage et une cuisine exceptionnelle. Un logement bien situé car à proximité d'une ligne de bus et de tram (direct pour le centre ville - central Station) en 20 min environ. Restaurants et supermarchés à 5 min à pied à peine (Lidl, Albert Heinj) et super paisible. Pas un bruit jour comme nuit. idéal en famille !!! Et Dorien et Jochem étaient très gentils et accueillants. Ils nous on expliqué le fonctionnement de la maison etc...et ils nous ont attendu le soir de notre arrivée malgré nos 2h de retard. Ils avaient même laissé quelques douceurs à notre attention (gaufres, chocolat, Chips, des bières fraîches...) bref, c'est un sans faute ! tout était PARFAIT. Un grand merci à cette famille pour tout.

Très bel appartement, situé dans un quartier calme près de l'Oosterpark. Une grande terrasse très appréciable pour les soirées. Le tout à 15 min en vélo de la gare, des musées... Merci Petra pour votre accueil et votre confiance.

The house Is beautiful, located in a very nice, quiet zone of Amsterdam, near to the centre and very close to western park and many locals. Style of apartament Is very cool, with every electronic device for entertainment. Only thing not good that there Is not space for our clothes inside the wardrobe... But we have find a solution with the chair... José Is a perfct host, Always available.

I absolutely loved my 3 week stay here, it has everything you could need. It instantly felt like home and includes many small details that makes your stay easy and pleasant. You can really tell that Han's has given good thought and care into the space. He is an absolutely wonderful host that I hope to stay with again in the future. The location is amazing, as other reviews has said, it's the perfect distance from the city center/centraal station(10-20min). Even if you don't feel like going that far, there are many delicious restaurants within 1 block. Grocery stores, museums, the zoo and plenty else to do within 3 blocks! During the day the neighborhood is lively and active, but it never feels overcrowded. There's a constant stream of pedestrians, bicyclist, bridge raises, and boats passing in the canal to watch. During the night it a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Bonus points for stable and fast wifi and an awesome hot shower. You won't be disappointed staying at Han's😁👍

The hosts were very responsive to all questions and even provided suggestions. The location is about 20-30 minutes to the city center and easy to navigate. The apartment matched the pictures! The apartment was mostly clean, with some dried food on the silverware and plates in the pantry that required us to clean before use. The dishwasher was full of clean dishes, which is nice, but we had to empty to use it. The toilet is separate from the sink/shower, and the room the toilet is in is comically small. If you have mobility issues I would ask for a picture of the toilet before booking. Overall, this is an ok deal for the price and location. The apartment is comfy and cozy, and the hosts being so friendly and responsive was the best part! Thanks again!

I cannot recommend Markus and her rental enough. We were 4 adults including my 84 year old mom and the place worked so well for us. Fantastic neighborhood with restaurants and shops very close; best of all 5 minute walk to Vondelpark for a stroll, a beer or coffee and a respite from the crazy hustle of Amsterdam. Peaceful and well appointed home that was free of clutter. I only realized this was a family home when Markus told me. Separate places to get space. Downstairs bed for my mom (no stairs). I will recommend to friends and family!

This was a perfect stay for my first trip to Amsterdam. The cleanliness, location, and convenience of this unit were absolutely amazing. The hosts were very responsive and extremely helpful by also providing an itinerary of activities, surrounding neighborhoods, and restaurants. Not to mention we were practically right around the corner to one of the best parks in the city that we walked through every single day. Hopefully I can stay here again on my next visit!

This lovely place is right off the park, walkable to restaurants, shops and even to the museums (through the park), and just a 20 min ride to the city center. It's in a VERY family friendly area!! The host is excellent -- very friendly and helpful and quick with responses. The flat is fully appointed and even has a little back patio, but 2 of the bedrooms are quite small, and the stairs between floors are steep!

Words cannot express how lovely Joze’s place was! She met us upon arrival and gave us a tour, and we immediately felt right at home! She was extremely helpful and communicative! The home is located in a fantastic quiet neighborhood with walking distance to everything Amsterdam has to offer! The home is filled with Joze’s artwork and it makes for stunning finishing touches! We cannot wait to come back to Amsterdam and hopefully have the opportunity to stay at her place again! We had the BEST time!

Peter was very friendly and responsive. The place has a very nice backyard, and the appartment is surrounded with many shops and coffees. The location is so good, there’s no need for any transportation, you can walk everywhere. Thanks to Peter for hosting us in this lovely apartment.

Mia was extremely friendly and helpful. The place was cosy and comfortable and In a calm and beautiful area of town. Would definitely go back!

Alles tiptop. Marcel und seine Frau helfen bei allem, sind sehr freundlich und entspannt. Wir haben das Elektroboot von Marcel ausgeliehen und eine Tour über die Kanäle und See gemacht. Es war herrlich. Marcel hat uns dabei gut eingewiesen. Vielen Dank!

Appartement lumineux, spacieux et très propre, a proximité des transports en commun pour rejoindre le centre d'Amsterdam en 15 min ! J'y reviendrai avec plaisir, encore merci !
