Our studio is good for couples, solo and business travellers. Entry to our studio is via our garage located on a quiet, well-lit laneway; we offer a visitors parking permit.

I've had fun creating a playful, vibrant place (kitted out with lots of awesome homewares!) that I hope you'll enjoy as much as I do. A uniquely Melbourne experience - perfect for an extended (or short) stay. The Stables were originally built in 1880 for the horses that serviced the Victorian home they are situated behind. The Stables have been converted into a spacious, sun-lit, private, fully self-contained accommodation over 2 levels with a shared garden and independent access (allowing you to come and go as you please). It is a short stroll to great food, leafy Edinburgh Gardens, public transport and bike paths.

Trains, trams and buses are between 5 & 10 minutes walking distance. 5 train stops to Jolimont Station, for MCG & Melbourne Park. A Visitor's Parking Permit is available for free, unrestricted parking on the street outside the residence.

Occasionally at night you might see or hear native possums running across the roof.

My mum 'Patricia' was pretty quirky, and so is this whimsical place. 100 years old, and an Alphington institution...this adorable shopfront is one of the areas most loved and iconic buildings. The interior is warm and spacious, with plenty of room to rest or work, and everything you need for a comfortable stay.
