Renta de alojamientos vacacionales frente a la playa en Kehena Black Sand Beach

Fue magnífico sin dudar toda la casa era cómoda y agradable, no había aire acondicionado pero con las ventanas abiertas y los ventiladores fue más que suficiente, nos encantó poder desayunar viendo al mar y con la brisa en la mañana. El spa fue delicioso y espacioso, sin duda es algo que no se pueden perder! La playa está muy cerca a pie, solamente que es algo complicado de acceder a esta y el oleaje es algo fuerte, pero es una playa linda, de todos modos está muy cerca del parque de volcanes (como a 40min) e igual hay una playa como a 1hr donde pudimos ver tortugas (igual con oleaje algo fuerte) pero muy linda para caminar y disfrutar la brisa. Hay restaurantes como a 20min La zona es súper tranquila y la vegetación es espectacular, sin duda fue un lugar mágico y tranquilo para relajarte por completo y disfrutar de la naturaleza! Aarón fue súper servicial y respondía súper rápido para ayudarnos por cualquier cosa, dándonos sugerencias para las situaciones, estuvo todo magnífico!

Worth every damn penny. Zero regrets. Howard is so friendly and respectful of your space while giving recommendations of his home and island. We don’t usually visit the same place twice but Howard may change that

WOW!! What a unique, beautiful, and serene place to stay! I can’t say enough good things. The garden and entire property was immaculate. We picked fresh oranges and a mango to eat, right from the yard. My husband loved the outdoor kitchen. Howard was hands down the best Airbnb host we’ve ever experienced. He was proactive with communications, super quick response time, and gave the BEST recommendations. He greeted us upon arrival and was so generous with his time. He gave us a tour of the entire property and walked us to a nearby beach and ocean overlook spot so we knew where to go. Thanks to Howard, we were able to experience the perfect timing and place to view Kilauea erupting. This Airbnb had every little detail covered - beach supplies & chairs, umbrellas, sunscreen, flashlights (use for nighttime Volcano National Park hikes!), and more. The outdoor bathhouse with ocean views was the cherry on top. Thank you Howard! We are so grateful we chose your place!

One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Janice was so kind and communicated great with us. The view is even better in person and the house was bigger in person too! Everything pictured is better than you can imagine. We saw turtles from the cliff every day! Hot tub was fun and so were the games. Neighborhood was great for walks and everyone is so friendly. We did not want to leave!

What a lovely find! Secluded, safe, spacious, gorgeous surroundings. We would’ve loved to have spent more time here. Kate was a very responsive host and made us feel right at home. Mahalo!

THE VIEW!! WOW!!! And the space - small, but all we needed. Booked only one bedroom and it worked out great. At first, we were concerned we were 40 mins drive from family in Hilo, but it ended up being a blessing! The sun was shining at Robyn's, while we watched the rain clouds over Hilo. Robyn is an awesome host - she answered questions quickly and made great suggestions.If she tells you the volcano is erupting, get in the car and immediately drive down to the park. And why do I say this? We lingered, being lazy on the deck with the amazing view and missed seeing the volcano erupting by 30 minutes 😔.Oh well, guess we will have to book another stay!

Sonja and Alex are exemplary Airbnb hosts! They are thoughtful and attentive. We could not have asked for more! If you are going to the Big Island, do yourself a favor and stay in this beautiful oasis. My husband and I had an amazing time, Sonja and Alex left chocolates and fresh island fruits in our space and made us feel 100% at home. Future visits to Hawaii (big island) will be spent here. Gorgeous views and peaceful surroundings. I cannot imagine finding better accommodations. Beautiful, peaceful, perfect. Mahalo Sonja and Alex, MUCH ALOHA. <3

Paradise Waits in Pāhoa truly is a unique and special place. The grounds are lovely and private and we enjoyed both the pool and hot tub. Suzie was very responsive and made recommendations for restaurants which we enjoyed. It is as stated in the write up, outdoorsy and tropical - remote and very relaxing. We enjoyed breakfast at the surfboard bar in the kitchen and dinner in the dining area. This was our first stay on this side of the island and it was a fun adventure. And, if you enjoy stargazing- it’s spectacular!

Very wonderful location, Airbnb was definitely beautiful itself. Had more than expected, and host was overall helpful with recommendations and questions we had throughout our stay. Wish we stayed longer!

This stay way absolutely wonderful. Such a beautiful and peaceful location. We really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and fell asleep nightly to the soothing jungle sounds. The host was extremely accommodating and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. This has been my favorite Airbnb stay by far! I will definitely be staying here again if I ever make it back to the islands !

This was probably one of the nicest, most idyllic places I've ever stayed in. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, so thoughtfully put together, super clean and luxurious, and you instantly feel welcome and at home. The beautiful lakai (patio) overlooks a lucious paradise of a garden, you wake up in the most comfortable bed to the sounds of exotic birds and a view of the sky and the trees through the windows, the "outside/inside" shower makes you feel like you're in the trees while enjoying maximum privacy, cute geckos pay you a visit on the lakai or in the little meditation/yoga studio in the garden, the night sounds of frogs and the stars you can see from bed.. paradise! Not to mention the perfectly equipped kitchen (oils, spices, coffee, tea etc.) and bathroom (the fluffiest towels, and the guest toothpaste saved our first night/morning there), two comfy robes, books, a lovely welcome basket, you name it. If I'm ever back on Big Island, I will definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful ocean view. We even heard the whales at night! The location was convenient to Hilo and Volcanoes National Park. It was a treat to be here when the volcano started erupting. A bonus! Well apportioned and clean. Thank you!

Beautiful house across the toad from Kehena Beach. The rooms were beautiful and the bathrooms were immaculate. Kitchens were stocked with dishes, glasses and utensils and much more. Loved sitting on the lanai. Beautiful view of the ocean. Walking distance to the drum circle on the lawn. Just a fantastic stay!

We had an amazing stay at this truly unique home! Built in Bali and shipped to Hawaii, the house is a masterpiece of wood craftsmanship, blending traditional Balinese architecture with the natural beauty of its surroundings. The intricate open-air design, and thoughtfully curated details made it feel like a tropical retreat unlike any other. The atmosphere was both peaceful and inspiring, with plenty of space to relax and take in the stunning private environment. Everything was well-maintained, and the hosts were welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind experience with cultural charm, this is the place to be. We would absolutely love to return!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and well-appointed home! The highlight was undoubtedly the stunning tropical ocean view—we even spotted whales and dolphins right from the deck! The location is fantastic, just a short walk to a breathtaking black sand beach (clothing-optional), though swimming is best for strong swimmers. The home is comfortable and has everything needed for a relaxing stay. As expected in the tropics, the environment can be a bit tough on materials, but that’s just part of the charm of being in such a beautiful, natural setting. The host communicated really well and has done a great job keeping the space welcoming and well-equipped. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway immersed in nature, this is a fantastic spot. We would absolutely stay again!
