Loved the authentic eco credentials - plastic free toiletries, washing up cloth, eco friendly products. The shepherds hut was real cosy and comfy. Bore place is a wonderful spot with far more nature than I would have expected in the southeast! Chris was super friendly and helpful and this was a fabulous stay.

Beautiful little shepherd's hut in a lovely area - a perfect countryside getaway for the weekend (or longer). Huts were clean and really well insulated - would stay cozy in all weathers. Kellie was the perfect host and really helpful - would highly recommend!

molly dishwasher is in an absolutely stunning location the pictures don't do justice to how stunning this place is your surrounded by the most beautiful views in the most peaceful location, me and my family had the most amazing 2 nights staying here and the little personal touches added on top just make it that much more special, moppy is an amazing host and let the boys help feed the animals on the last night which they absolutely loved, there is another hut on site but you cant see them so you have amazing privacy. I can see why lots of people who stay here are on there 7th visit as its a place you'll want to re visit after staying. we will defiantly be back soon, thank you for an amazing stay.

My husband and I had a great stay at the Shepherds Hut. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, and relaxed with a nice Barbeque ( which was provided!). The highlight was lighting the fire pit in the evening and huddling around the flames. Kellie was super helpful, and the kitchen/ bathroom had everything we needed. We would love to come back!

I would recommend skylark to anyone looking for some peace. I went alone. I felt completely safe. I knew the farm house was close by but I also had complete privacy so i was able to fully relax. Having the fire pit was wonderful. I used it every evening and sat under the stars. I loved having my own kitchen and bathroom. Moppy was always responsive. I needed more logs and they arrived promptly. She left plenty of food in the fridge. Eggs. Bacon. Sausages. Croissant. Muesli.Milk. Butter. Good coffee etc. I didn't want fro anything at all. Moppy even took me to the train station on my return. A lovely woman and a lovely family.Thanks, Moppy

Had a great weekend. The hut is set in a quiet meadow with nice views over the countryside. The hut is cosy with a surprisingly well-stocked kitchen and a compost toilet that amazingly doesn’t smell at all! The hot outdoor shower is a few steps away the hut and is a nice touch. Indoor showers just down the hill along with fridges and charging points (USB plugs available in the hut). Bore Place is interesting and worth exploring and you can buy fresh milk and cheese produced on site from the cows. An abundance of bird life so bring binoculars. The glamping seems popular with young families so if you want complete privacy, peace and quiet then this might not be the place for you. Very good value compared with other Shepherd’s huts.

We loved Hannah's place. The hut is exactly like the pictures, really comfy, we felt at home. Hannah is really friendly and helpful. Amazing place for dogs and to connect with nature Definitely we would go back.

Great place to stay for a quiet couple of days, loved the hot tub. Will definitely look to return in the future.

Myself and my partner had a lovely weekend stay at The Sheep Fold. Kate and her daughter, Jessa, were very friendly, welcoming and gave us some good recommendations for things to do in the area. The hut itself is located about a 5 minute walk from their main property, which gives it a very private, remote feel. Even though the hut itself is quite cosy, it had all the facilities we needed and more. There are woods and fields that surround the property which you can explore, and we were lucky enough to see rabbits and a variety of birds in the mornings. Overall, this a great place to come if you're looking for a peaceful, rural stay, but equally a good base for exploring local castles, watersports, pubs, etc.

Nina was a wonderful host, and the cabin is cosy and gorgeous. The garden is completely private and enclosed - perfect for dogs. There was nowhere for the dog to escape. Great to be able to light a fire, felt like posh, warm glamping. Great facilities, including a gas hob, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave.

Everything at the shepherds hut was absolutely perfect, just what we wanted a wonderful peaceful getaway thankyou so much!

Very cosy cabin set in spectacular nature including the beautiful forests just across a field. The cabin has everything you need for a short stay and the firepit and BBQ is fab for good weather. We also had the pleasure of nightingales singing through the evenings! A perfect escape from London. Host was very kind and helpful with both the property and local attractions.

We had a great 2 night stay at Railway View. Quick walk to pubs & restaurants on the high street. The accommodation was exactly as described & the hot tub was lovely. Craig & Caroline were brilliant hosts, responded quickly to any queries I had. Thank you so much 😀

This is a perfect escape if you fancy a couple of days in the country. Serene countryside and the added aspects of lambs in the field beyond was picture perfect, you felt like you really had a little safe haven. The hut itself has everything you need, the wood burning stove was really useful as it was a little chilly at night and gave great ambiance. The bed itself was incredibly comfy, my friend and I easily slept 9 hours a night in the hut! We took their recommendations in the welcome pack and went to a few of the restaurants and farm shops mentioned, all phenomenal! Especially the three chimneys for a roast dinner! Beautiful walks nearby, close enough to Rye and Camber Sands if you fancy a day at the coast. The compostable toilet was smart and effective, didn’t smell at all! Also, the cake and apple juice left for us was so tasty and a real treat! Already thinking about booking again - thank you Sian

Amazing stay! We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Shelagh and Franks place. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Shelagh could not have done anything more to make us feel welcome. Shelagh most definitely put herself out to provide everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a thorough tour of the property. The shepherds hut was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The amenities provided were top notch. We felt like we were on holiday using the swimming pool and surrounding pool house, and to top it up the wonderful hot tub. The location was perfect with lots of country walks. We enjoyed exploring the area. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend Shelagh and Franks and their Shepherds hut highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay- we will definitely be back!😁

We had such a great time at the shepherds hut! The instructions prior to arriving were really clear and helpful, we were welcomed on arrival and shown around but, then left to our own devices. We were able to easily have a fire in the fire pit and had a really relaxing evening. Nice a peaceful. Well worth the money for a little getaway.

A wonderful shepherds hut and separate kitchen/bathroom cottage. Spotlessly clean, brilliantly decorated and a great location among the fruit trees and gardens. A peaceful stay over Easter.

My fiancé and I had the most perfect time staying at Lucy's little hut! It was a surprise booked for my partners birthday and it was everything & more. We live in London and work 6 days a week so we are always busy and in a fast environment, so to stay in such a peaceful perfect getaway with the most incredible views it was beyond amazing! Lucy was a diamond she was very attentive, caring and a delight to have met. Thank you Lucy for giving us such a peaceful and precious couple of days staying in your lovely garden. We hope to visit again soon and I will definitely be sharing this experience for friends and family to visit. Thank you x

Had a super lovely time at the Goods Truck. Peaceful, very responsive hosts, brilliantly (and beautifully) designed cosy space and close to places like Whitstable & Faversham, which make great trips out. The space is very thoughtfully designed too, with a small table top oven, instead of usual obligatory microwave! and a small TV if you don't want a complete digital detox. Its private and quiet too. wonderful host and a beautiful shepherd's hut set in an orchard. a very picturesque location and very private. both myself and my partner were made to feel very welcome as was our dog. there was everything we needed for a relaxing night away from home. We would definitely recommend staying there to anybody,as I'm sure they would receive the warm welcome that we got. We both look forward to visiting again

Such a beautiful retreat - the location is simply stunning and completely quiet and away from any road noise. Hannah was always quick to respond, and the hut has everything you could need for a cozy night in. The garden was perfect for our (huge) dog too!

The sheppards hut is simply stunning. We have stayed in quite a few over the years, but this one just raised the bar in every aspect. The interior, with furnishings and amenitites was everything you could wish for, with a level of luxury not usually found in other huts. The exterior too was immaculate, plenty of seating, private and peaceful. The wood fired hot tub was again another level of luxury not usually found in these style huts locally. The surroundings, views and peace was everything we wanted. A lovely 5 minute walk to Elham and the lovely King's Arms. Plenty of local walks to access too. A perfect stay for a few nights. Having the sheep next door was another lovely touch. Both hosts were lovely, welcoming, chatty and responsive and helped when we had locked our keys inside the hut on departure day!! We will absolutely be returning. If you find this place available, just book it. You won't be disappointed.

The best air bnb I have stayed in! So much provided e.g blankets, picnic basket, fire wood. Also, the location is great. You can walk to the bus stop to get a 20 minute bus into Tunbridge Wells and there are other great countryside walks near by.

WOW !! what a beautiful air b&b. the location is so tranquil, incredibly peaceful and so relaxing. to be able to watch and listen to the birds on the decking area was exactly what my soul needed. the bed was incredibly comfortable, the attention to detail throughout the property was stunning. the bread was delicious too!! thank you so so much again, it was wonderful being able to celebrate my partners birthday here. we will definitely be returning 🩷
