The 1780 Cabin on Main

A charming cabin built circa 1780 situated right on Main Street, just steps from Pubs and Restaurants and easy walking distance to historic Mercersburg Academy. There is a separate sleeping area upstairs with a queen-size memory foam bed. The lower level features a foldout couch and air mattress for additional guests, as well as a 55" TV and a wet bar and bathroom. Visitors have universally enjoyed the cabin's cozy feel. While there is no yard available, the town is great for walking dogs.

Guests have complete privacy inside the cottage with a full kitchen, two TV's, Wi-Fi, and a mini split system for heating and cooling. As well as exclusive access to the hot tub, fire pit and pond outside! We also have various shared hiking trails through the woods surrounding the cottage for campers and cottage guests to enjoy!

Take it easy at this tranquil getaway in a small town nestled in the valley of the Appalachian mountains. Ten minutes from turnpike Exit 180 - Fort Littleton/McConnellsburg. This little haven is close to a great fishing spot at Meadow Grounds State Park lake. Hiking at Cowens Gap State Park. And Buchanan's Birthplace State Park not far away. You can relax as you watch the sunset for one of the two overlooks on neighboring mountains. Come and enjoy it for yourself!
