Tucked away in Waterloo, 5min walk to Open Polytechnic, our private guest studio is cosy & comfy. Your own entrance & outdoor area in the trees & native bird life. A very comfortable king bed, ensuite bathroom (shower has great pressure!) & everything you’ll need to make a cuppa or heat dinner in the microwave. 2 minute walk to Riverside Drive, Waiwhetu stream & Te Whiti Park. The area a is ideal for those needing to work or check in with work. 10 min walk to Woburn train station.

Nest on Nelson - cosy hideaway at Petone beach

Nest on Nelson is a right across from Petone beach. The private garden area is lush with greenery and the perfect space to unwind. Enjoy relaxing in the egg chair, looking out at the peaceful surrounds or have a soak in the massive bath. Free car park and centrally located (one house back from beach) and a 3 minute stroll to all the restaurants, quirky shops and cafes of Jackson St. Train and bus stops to the central city are a short walk. Picton ferry is a 10 minute drive at off peak.

Te Rama Roa (Lightkeeper's Cottage)

Stay in a beautifully restored former Lighthouse Keeper's cottage with a new name, Te Rama Roa, meaning Beacon of Light. With views over Cook Strait and the Kaikōura Ranges, the cottage features retro 1970’s styling, three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and accessible bathroom. Please note that this accommodation is subject to cancellation between January and April due to potential fire season risks. We will provide as much notice as possible and will provide a refund if cancelled.
