The area boasts some of the best trout fishing, has a beautifully maintained Golf Course, only 3km from our home. Clarens is well-known for local artists, art galleries, restaurants, hiking, wildlife, adventures sports and activities. We have a panoramic view of the Valley and the mountains of Golden Gate and Lesotho.

THE ZULU HUT - A UNIQUE AFRICAN EXPERIENCE

Situated in a safe, crime-free area, with tar roads all the way, is the Zulu Hut. It has traditional Zulu decor. Lying in bed you have an amazing view of the beautiful Drakensberg mountains. Lots to see and do in the area. The little rock pool is ideal for cooling off. On the same property is INKUNZI CAVE and DIDDLY SQUAT, which are listed separately.

Rose Garden Cottage

Sitting in the shade of a 150 year old Elm tree with a view of Platberg Mountain and sleeping in one of Harrismith’s historical landmarks is a treat. Harrismith is the gem of the Free State, the gateway to the Drakensberg. You can fly fish on uncrowded waters, bird along forgotten back roads or just enjoy the peace and quiet of a country town.

Blooming Nice Stay offers bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation, and is situated in Harrismith in the Free State. The owner-run guest house is located close to the N3 and N5 highways.
