The host and her husband were very accommodating and the home was perfect for our family fishing trip. It was perfect location; only a short drive to the Point-Aux-Chenes boat launch and the Dollar General. And my baby nephew loved Lucky the duck in the pond on the property.

The pictures to not do the place justice. It is an extremely peaceful setting with very nice amenities. What impressed me more than the surrounding, location, and atmosphere was the host’s concern for our comfort. There was a glitch after check in and i notified the host and they were relentless until it was fixed. Kudos to them for the diligence it made the stay amazing. When we return to the area this will be the first place i will check to see if it is available.

We had the best weekend! Kid friendly, walkable distance to many things, friendly and helpful owners, beautiful home, everything was a breeze and as described. Would love to stay here again!

This is a great location for both boat watching and private relaxation. While you feel you are in your own little world, you are in fact steps from downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and hated to leave. Terissa was very "reachable".

We flew down from Illinois to celebrate my brother’s birthday. The house and location were great! The boys fished off the dock and took the kayak and paddle boat out. We all enjoyed sitting on the back porch. Brooke’s place was very clean and we all adored the decorations! We will definitely be planning another trip!

Absolutely incredible stay. Rick is the kind of host everyone hopes for. He was consistently responsive, answered every question we had, and provided excellent communication before and during our visit. The email with step-by-step instructions was clear and helpful. The detailed “pamphlet” he provided was filled with useful local recommendations, hidden gems, and thoughtful suggestions that really enhanced our experience. The home itself is exceptional. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and designed with both comfort and style in mind. The layout made it easy to relax, and every room had a cozy yet high-quality feel. It was clear that a great deal of care had gone into every detail, from the furnishings to the amenities. The location could not have been better. It offered both easy access to local restaurants, and fishing, as well as the quiet and peaceful surroundings we were hoping for. Morning coffee on the deck overlooking the bayou was one of our favorite moments each day.

Our stay was really great! Our family came back home to Houma for Easter weekend and we had a blast! Our family came over for a good ol crawfish boil on Good Friday and We got a small noise complaint due to music but Morgan was super sweet and simply asked us to turn it down! Her home is lovely and conveniently located near everything you’ll need! This was our second stay here and look forward to future visits to the bayou!

Beautiful home, spacious, very clean and modern, love the backyard patio, it was wonderful for entertainment,and the pool table stayed occupied 24 hours. My family enjoyed the home, and looking forward to booking again
