Our spacious 3 room, 1,200 square foot historic (c. 1670) one bedroom apartment for two guests has exposed beams, wide pine floors, full bath, kitchenette, and is just a short walk to Long Sands Beach or a short drive to York Beach, York Harbor, or York Village.

The Victorian Room at Parkside Retreat—a quiet, peaceful retreat just 3 miles from the bay and 5 miles from the oceanfront, without all the beach noise! Five minutes from I-264 in NE Virginia Beach. Huge back yard adjacent to park. We are very much like a classic bed and breakfast, just without the breakfast. The Windy Top Cottage is an old stone building constructed in 1932 by H. L. Bitter, a wealthy Hartford businessman. This area of Granby was a favorite of the Hartford elite for a place to 'summer' in the early part of the 20th Century.
