Gilles place is magical. I loved every minute of my month long stay there and was incredibly sad to leave. The views are incredible and the wildlife is abundant I don’t surf but the beaches here are delightful for long walks and I really enjoyed taking dips in the cool river and floating in the tide pools. I loved the daily workout of climbing the steep hill but if you are not very fit you’d be wise to rent a 4x4 or an ATV to get around during your stay. Lastly, Gilles presence on the property was an added bonus! He has lived in the area for a long time and offers great suggestions. He is very respectful of your space / privacy but quick to respond to questions and consistently jovial if you happen to see him outside. Highly recommend!!!

My husband and I are so lucky to have found the perfect place in Costa Rica get away from it all and decompress. The home itself is very spacious, private and is set among a beautifully landscaped property. Jacko the caretaker was very accommodating, super friendly and helped us set up a couple of excursions while we were there. It was the perfect little home away from home.

Espaço excelente para famílias e grupos maiores. Todos ficaram confortáveis e se sentiram em casa. Carolina foi muito atenciosa, sempre respondia rapidamente. Ela e sua equipe foram muito amáveis! Pavones é encontadora, principalmente para quem surfa. Recomendamos e esperamos voltar em breve!

We had a fantastic time in Pavones. Casa Azul was in walking distance to the beach. The area is peaceful and beautiful. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Very clean too. Kelly was a great host, very responsive, friendly, offered lots of suggestions of things to do. We were primarily there to surf but enjoyed the hikes that she recommended as well as the boat trip which she arranged for us.

YOU MUST GO! That should certainly be the title to this review. I cannot say enough about Sarah’s beautiful space but allow me to try… From the very beginning Sarah was hands down one of the most responsive, caring + attentive hosts. She helped us plan not only our stay at her place but also helped direct our week’s great adventures (surfing, sport fishing, snorkeling, etc.) The home is welcoming + wonderful, you will not be disappointed. It’s close to everything you need but has its own private feel. My kids played in the pool + ocean all week long. We loved that the beach was only steps away. There are water toys, towels, snorkel gear, boogie boards + so many things that help make you feel right at home. Our favorite spot to eat was El Coquito, the pizza was delicious + they delivered. There are many things to do + see so we had to pick + choose but we will be back to keep exploring this sweet haven of Costa Rica. Pack your bags + DO NOT think twice. Playa Zancudo is waiting.

Muy lindo el alojamiento, la anfitriona siempre atenta y muy amable!! Quizás lo único que faltaría sería un aire acondicionado jaja por el calor que hace en Puerto Jiménez pero fuera de ahí muy lindo todo!

Nous avons passé 6 jours merveilleux dans un cadre exceptionnel. Un véritable havre de paix, entouré par la nature. Quelle chance d’avoir pu observer des singes écureuils, ainsi qu’une multitude de papillons et d’oiseaux ! Un endroit idéal pour se ressourcer en toute tranquillité. Nous repartons avec de très beaux souvenirs. 💚

Meadow's place is great value. The location is further out of Pavones and would be annoying if you didn't have a car, but we did so we didn't mind. Easy drive to several surf spots. The bedroom area looks exactly like the photos. Small, but suits your needs just fine! The kitchen area is really quite lovely. Some of the items in the kitchen (pans, etc.) are in need of replacement, but if you don't cook much while you're on vacation, then you won't mind! It was a treat to be able to do a load of laundry, since we were away from home for a while. The grounds are kept beautifully by their caretaker Abner. He's very helpful if you need anything. We ran out of propane for the kitchen stove, and he had a new tank within about an hour. Thanks for a great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this sweet apartment in Golfito. It was conveniently located and very comfortable. The view from the porch was breathtaking. Katie was a wonderful host and helped resolve a minor issue quickly. We will stay here again!
