This was our second stay here. It's a lovely house, with lots of space. It's also really well located for the shops and restaurants in Bellingen.

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

Our stay was brief but bang on. The house is modern, spacious and had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquil surroundings, exploring the stunning local beaches and equally gorgeous hinterland. Jena and Marguerite were kind and gracious hosts who were quick to respond to our queries. Thanks for hosting us.

Claudia's house is truly a rare find. Every element of the home reflects high quality, and the attention to detail is exceptional. We had a wonderful stay at Jacqui and Peter’s place. The view is amazing and it’s lovely to be able to hear the ocean. There house was easily accessible to the main town of Scott’s head and it was well equipped for kids. We will definitely be back again!

Denise and Brett’s place was exactly what we were after! Fantastic spot for peace and quiet to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The sauna and cold pool is a fantastic add too. Denise and Brett were awesome - gave us privacy but always on hand to help if we needed something. Thanks guys!

A beautiful and tranquil spot which was the perfect rest area for my drive down from Brisbane. My dog absolutely loved the place too. We would like to stay longer next time, one night wasn’t enough! Thanks

We had such a wonderful stay with Valerie and Stuart. Their accommodation is so lovely and comfortable, and all the personal and thoughtful touches were so nice - Val made us fresh bread and homemade jams and pickles, as well as muffins on arrival! The view from the patio is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful, with so many birds to see. Val and Stu were so welcoming and friendly, it really felt like we were staying with old friends (and certainly like we've made some lovely new ones!). Moonee Beach House was perfect for our family. Loved the location, such a beautiful spot. The house was spotless and Pauline was very responsive. Would love to visit again.

Fantastic Place. Loved absolutely everything. Huge bonus that we could have our beloved doggo with us. The pool and Tennis court were well used by us as was the back verandah where we ate, played games and just chilled. Will definitely be booking again in the future.

OMG 😍 this place is absolutely devine. Gary went out of his way to ensure our stay was amazing, without issue and extremely peaceful. We had 13 of us stay there, there was more than enough room without getting under each others feet. The pool table was a massive hit with everyone and the kids absolutely loved exploring. We will definitely be making this place our yearly family holiday location 😍 Highly recommend booking this place x

The house was clean and tidy plus it provided all we required for a relaxing few days. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom finish to a good standard. The postion is handy to many good cafes/restaurants plus it was an easy walk to the jetty/marina area. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would happily stay again in the future.

This air bnb was perfect for me and my cavoodle, very clean, beach style, beautiful gardens surrounded the accommodation, very comfortable bed with lovely bedding, great kitchen with full amenities, lovely vegetable garden with herbs also. 5 minute walk to Valla Beach which is stunning. Only a 12 minute drive north of Nambucca Heads, highly recommend this air bnb. Lisa of Sydney.

We found Dan's place to be perfect for our overnight stay. Lovely and clean with everything we needed, the secure grassed yard area was great for our dog. Would definitely consider staying again.

We absolutely loved our stay – the location was stunning, peaceful, and felt incredibly private. The outdoor bathtub and the choice of indoor/outdoor fireplaces made it feel like a luxury retreat. The property was beautifully modern and thoughtfully designed, with a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. Most of our meals were enjoyed cooking over the outdoor firepit using our cast iron grill that we brought with us, which made the experience even more special. Scotts Head and South West Rocks were just a short 20–25 minute drive away and offered some fantastic breakfast and dinner spots that we enjoyed exploring on our second day. Very memorable trip. We’ll definitely be back – and have already recommended the location to a few friends and family!
