All on one level, with no stairs, the apartment is ideal for families with young children or people with limited mobility. Whilst literally a stone's throw from the beach and within the sound of the rolling waves, this is a ground-floor property and does not have direct sea views. There are 6 steps down to access the front door, these are well lit and have a very good hand rail. Private use of the entire apartment. There are three large bedrooms, two with en suites, as well as a separate bathroom, sunny courtyard garden at the back which is perfect for lazy BBQs, patio area to front. Parking is free directly outside (a rarity in Deal). There is an undercover storage area ideal for golf clubs, bikes, pushchairs, wellington boots, buckets and spades, and of course your pebble collections... We love Deal and want out guests to as well. We leave out masses of information about things to do, places to eat, local walks etc. and are always very happy to help with any other questions you might have. As we are nearby we are also on hand should there be any problems during your stay. Nous parlons français raisonnables! The apartment is just a short stroll along the promenade to some British seaside favourites. There’s a vintage ice cream parlour, amusements, award-winning pier, plus a vibrant high street full of independent shops and fantastic restaurants. By Train: The apartment is only a 10 minute walk from Deal station, with its high speed train links direct into London Kings Cross St Pancras taking only 1hr and 15 mins. Trains also run to and from Charing Cross. There is a taxi service in the station car park if you don't fancy the short walk. By Car: Approx 1hrs drive from the M25, junction 2 (via A2) or junction 3 (via M20). Deal is only a short drive from the Port of Dover, its Cruise Terminal, and nearby Eurotunnel Services. Its easily accessible from the Continent and perfectly located for a day trip to France. Just remember to pack your passport! The apartment is very child friendly and we provide the following childrens kit should you need it: High chair, Travel cot, Booster seat, Changing mat, Baby bather, Bumbo seat, Sterilizer, Bottle warmer, Bouncy Chair, Plug socket covers, Door guards, Plastic plates, cups and cutlery, Hand held blender, masses of toys and games. All our beds are hotel quality with 1000 pocket sprung mattresses, Egyptian Cotton bed linen, and hypoallergenic duvets and pillows. Towels also provided. We also have an additional fold out single bed should you want to sleep an extra person.

Campbell Cottage is located just moments from the sea and a mere 10 minute easy flat stroll along the promenade to the pier and Deal town centre. The local parade of shops just a few minutes away includes a bakery, off license, hardware store, chemist and launderette. There are also several coffee shops, pubs, takeaways and restaurants on the doorstep. Walmer Green is the hub for summer events including the famous Deal Carnival in July and weekly Sunday concerts at the bandstand. From May to September the free open air children's paddling pool is open . Guests will be given their own keys Someone who’s offsite will be available as needed The cottage is located in a quiet residential street just back from Walmer Green and the seafront. A 15-minute level stroll along the seafront promenade leads to Deal town. Buses into Deal, Sandwich, Canterbury, Dover and beyond stop a few metres from the cottage. Deal's award winning High Street and train station are also only a 15 minute stroll away. With pubs, cafés, and local shops selling basic provisions on the doorstep. Walmer Green is a few paces away from the apartment and throughout the summer provides the backdrop for weekly events such as the annual antiques brocante, funfair, vintage car and motorbike displays, food market.

The Cottage is a 6 min drive from the beach or a lovely 20 min walk taking in the woods along the way. Located 5 minutes walk away from the White Cliffs of Dover, the granary is a converted timber frame building set in the garden of a 16th century Kentish farmhouse and 1 km away from the beautiful seaside village of St Margaret's-at-Cliffe. Featuring exposed beams, wattle and daub walls and many original features including staddlestones and a handcrafted spiral staircase leading to a mezzanine sleeping area, the granary has a lovely feel and is very light, warm and cosy.
