Designed for families as a relaxing spot to get away from the hustle & bustle of life, the "Hillside Hideaway" is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin perched on a hill in southeastern Missouri with a gorgeous sunset view from the screen porch. We have a well-stocked kitchen, laundry, fire pit, and plenty of toys and games for the whole family. It is just a couple of miles to a sandy swimming beach at Lake Wappapello, the boat ramp at Chaonia Landing, and many hiking trails in Lake Wappapello State Park.

Looking forward to a ideal country cabin or relax in the beautifully lit claw foot tub or roast some delicious marshmallows next to the large rock fireplace located in the living room. It is amazing but the sleeping quarters are located up a flight of stairs if you have any disabilities that prevent stairs the cabin is not ideal.

If you’re looking for a peaceful/romantic get away this is the perfect place. Located approximately 2 hours south of St. Louis, and less than 15 minutes from Poplar Bluff, MO.

Within minutes from Peoples Creek and Sundowner Marina. We have plenty of space to park a boat and vehicle. The Camp is approximately 8 miles away, if you’re in the area to catch a live band. There is a Dollar General close by and a variety of restaurants within the Wappapello area to enjoy!

We have catch and release fishing on property at designated area (children must be accompanied by an adult) and we have firewood and ice available
