This little gem is new to Gibsons. It has a great Mexican ambiance as well as outdoor seating with a fireplace.

I've only eaten there once but it was good. I usually go to Lunitia's because my friend owns it, but it's hard to get in...so Barefoot is a good second choice.

The Barefoot Gecko Cantina Mexicana (Lower Gibsons) brings a slice of the Baja to the Sunshine Coast with details from the hand-painted tiles to the carefully crafted cocktails. The authentic menu items from not only their hometowns, but all parts of Mexico are made from scratch, in house and with love, including the only house-made tortilla shells on the Sunshine Coast.
