Catch a bus to St Just (shops, cafes and pubs) then walk down to see the magnificent scenery of Cape Cornwall. Small rocky beach and natural outdoor pool. Walk a little along the coast path and see the remnants of the tin mining industry. Coffee/tea/cake hut in NT carpark.
Headland owned by the National Trust. Stunning views, especially spectacular on a stormy day. Great walks in either direction towards Sennen to the West or Pendeen to the east. Small take away cafe located in the car park.
Pick up the road to Cot Valley in St.Just, also in the area and worth a visit Porth Nanven and Nanquidno Cove. All these locations are a bit of the beaten track. Vehicle access can be tricky so you are advised to park and enjoy these by foot!
Perfect for swimming, spotting the Cornish cough bird, coastal walks, picnics. The Cape is an exceptional place as it is where three seas meet: the Bristol Channel, the Irish Sea and the Atlantic. It is a place steeped in Cornish mining history.
