It's a pedestrian street lined with small restaurants and bars. They specialise in Pintxos. In case you don't know what they are, because I didn't, a Pintxo is a small version of a Tapas. Each Pintxo has a toothpick stuck in them with particular prices, which vary from €1-€2. You're given a little glass jar to collect the toothpicks from the Pintxos you've eaten. At the end of your stay you hand over the jar of toothpicks and get your bill.

the most lively "tapas" and "pintxos" street in Barcelona. Here you can taste all kinds of tapas at a great price. Here you will find a lot of bars to eat in a fun and different way.

Not a street market, but a street of tapas restaurants in the style of Bilbao and San Sebastian. Go in, order a small beer or wine, grab a plate, and help yourself. pay for your toothpicks - and then go to the next one... Blai 9, La Taberqa, Blai Tonight, and Atelier are some of our favourites.
