Fly Fishing the Metolius River Drive Time: 45 minutes Directions: Drive West on Hwy 20 through Sisters to Camp Sherman. Inquire at the General Store for the best flies and where the fish are biting.

The Metolius river is the crown jewel of the Deschutes. Amazing fly fishing, Glass clear water, beautiful place to hike. Fish hatchery. Great place for a family outing.

Favorite Excursion. The river is amazing - simple easy hikes along beautiful grass and flower-covered tundra. May for flowers. Excellent flyfishing. Camp Sherman is a fun family stop.
