Düsseldorf’s Little Tokyo Düsseldorf is home to the largest Japanese community in Germany. More than 8,000 Japanese people live in the state capital and characterise the vibrant Little Tokyo. Container Superb restaurants and izakayas (Japanese pubs) serve authentic Japanese cuisine, which was declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2013.
