This is a steak house open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The menu is on a 3" x 5" card. Steak, Potatoes and Cobbler. I don't think I missed much...... Great MC ride out. This would qualify as a one horse town, no gas station.... LOL Fun place to enjoy a short ride in the country and a great steak.

The Leona General Store is a popular steakhouse 5 miles from the farm. There is also a Soda Fountain & Drug Store adjacent to the restaurant. Please review their site for hours and reviews.

Okay, I'm gonna rave about this spot. I have had some of the best steaks in my life here (wait a minute, The best steak of my life, several times). They serve a bagged salad and garlic mashed potatoes. You can get chicken but no one does. The salad is mediocre, the potatoes are okay but you're there for the steak. There's a line out the door and they are open Thursday friday saturday only.People come form Houston and Dallas Thursday is cat fish. They open at 5:30, be there by 5:00 it's a 45 minute ride but worth it....no traffic either. And the added bonus? BYOB. Steaks come in 2 oz increments. I am a pig so I get an 18 ounce for about $35.00 Then I eat what the wife couldn't. Rib Eyes too!

We actually live in Conroe, TX and we make the 1.5 hour drive there quite often to eat. Literally the best steak in Texas. BYOB!

Local flavor. General store with Thursday night all-u-can-eat Catfish and Friday and Saturday is Ribeye night. Get there early. Definitely a country feel, non tourist place!
