CREOLE COFFEE STAND

This is a cafe with really good coffee and hot dogs. But the first things music fans will notice are the albums and singles lining the walls. As the name suggests, they mostly sell roots music from Louisiana—zydeco and “swamp pop.” These are really rare records, that you can buy if you like, but they’re also just really interesting to look at. The coffee is great, and I’m a fan of the fancy foreign beers they serve. I like to drink one and relax while listening to music.
