An immense desert landscape of canyons, high desert woodland, and miles of trails invite visitors to explore Dead Horse Point, State Park. The park has wonderful campgrounds with modern amenities, beautiful views, and connections to nature that will create long-lasting memories. Sunrises and sunsets are especially memorable, with canyon walls bathed in golden light, creating a stunning scene reminiscent of vivid watercolor paintings. Dark Skies filled with thousands of stars encourage travelers to look up and enjoy a view unparalleled while they visit the park. So plan your trip and be prepared to be awed by the stories you’ll make and remember for the rest of your life!

This is my favorite of all our Parks. The views here are unmatched anywhere in the state in my opinion. from here you can see the confluence The Colorada and Green river join. And the most Amazing Sunsets you'll ever experience! just a 30 minute drive. A must See!

Dead Horse Point State Park views are vast and expansive with the mighty Colorado River below, constantly eroding the canyon deeper. This special place includes famous iconic scenery from the movie Thelma & Louise and Mission Impossible II. Dead Horse Point State is a designated Night Sky destination and including various programs.

30 miles from Arches. 74 miles from Glamping Canyonlands Towering 2,000 feet above the Colorado River, the overlook provides a breathtaking panorama of Canyonlands’ sculpted pinnacles and buttes.
