As featured in The Guardian 'UK's 50 best Sunday lunches' A 16th-century coaching inn that welcomes Sunday lunchers with goose-fat roasties, cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets. It’s the kind of lunch that is guaranteed to induce a rosy-cheeked, post-prandial nap. We are also intrigued by the “Sunday baguette” – your choice of roast meat, stuffed into fresh bread and served with a heap of roast potatoes and pot of gravy. A roast butty, of sorts. Booking is advised with the Sunday menu available 12-3pm. And dogs are welcome.
