Feel like kayaking along the Esopus? I Paddle New York is excellent and close too: right in the village of Saugerties. Gail, the owner, is nice and super helpful. Be sure to make reservations in advance, though.

"I Paddle New York" is a 35 minutes drive from the Gardner Inn, but it's definitely worth trying! (61 S Partition St, Saugerties, NY 12477) Have fun, relax, unwind, discover why so many people have fallen in love with kayaking.
