WPG is on the historic BATTERY - the farthest end of the Peninsula. Definitely a must see with panoramic view of Charleston Harbour.

The historic Battery, at the tip of the peninsula. Its the location on the harbor you always see the weather channel broadcast from during big storms. Wonderful photo spot, large oaks and great spot for a picnic. Great place to see old architecture. Free parking along the battery also. There are no public restrooms in the park though (just keep in mind)

Free Park by the Battery 59 locals recommend White Point Garden is a 5.7 acre public park located in peninsular Charleston, South Carolina, at the tip of the peninsula. It is the southern terminus for the Battery, a defensive seawall and promenade. It is bounded by East Battery, Murray Blvd., King St., and South Battery.
