This quiet beach on south Siesta Key has a playground, picnic pavilion, fishing pier, handicapped-accessible boardwalk, restrooms and ample parking. A kayak launch, too, for boaters to explore the adjacent lagoon and natural wetlands. Adjacent to it is the county’s only beachfront campground. No lifeguards on duty.

Turtle Beach has increased in popularity over the last few years, but it is still easier to find a parking place here in the afternoon. It's another of Sarasota's beach treasures.

Our favorite beach in the area! Crystal clear water with shallows allow you to walk out into the Gulf for great snorkeling and fish sighting. This beach is generally not as crowded as others in Sarasota.

This is another beautiful beach. It is approximately 10 miles from the home. It is recommended to get to the beach early. There is limited parking.

A smaller and more narrow beach than Siesta Beach. Often times, less crowded and easier to grab a parking spot. Bring your own snacks and drinks, and gear, this beach is more remote and self serve!
