Tons of hiking and biking trails including a handicap accessible trail. Shaddox Hollow trail is my favorite and goes by lake. The visitors center is beautiful and a great place for kids to explore the exhibits and other activities, 45min from house. Make it a day trip by stopping at War Eagle mill.

One of our favorite places to ride the trails or simply hike and sight-see. There is an 8 mile loops called “karst loop” that will take you around some of Beaver Lake, with plenty of places to stop and take in the beauty!

Hobbs State Park Visitor Center deserves a visit, or two. It has hiking trails, biking trails, kayak tours, boat tours on Beaver Lake and a wonderful exhibition. Don't miss it!
