Mingo Falls Trail is a 0.3 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Cherokee, North Carolina that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, running, and nature trips and is best used from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

A 200-ft waterfall that drops off a series of granite boulders, 5 miles from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (near the town of Cherokee). You reach the falls via a 1/4 mile hike along a rushing stream. Note that the hike involves climbing 161 steps. There is a viewing bridge just past the rock outcropping at the top of the steps.
