We still think this is the best zoo in the Netherlands. Not too big, very child friendly with beautiful playgrounds and Dinobos. Recommended for a successful day out. www.dierenparkamersfoort.nl

The zoo in Amersfoort has a climbing route through multiple animal shelters. Really nice for children to experience the animals up close. They also have a dino parc.

This zoo is great for families. Kids get to take trails that go straight through ( or over) the animals enclosures, but the parents are entertained as well. It's just well set up.
