Once a 17th-century fort (known, somewhat underwhelming, as Fort Rupert), the hotel's main building is home to the Fish Pot, a restaurant that has been making waves across the international gastro-scene, thanks to its wonderful way with seafood. From its private wooden terrace on the beach, you can still see traditional boatbuilders working on their vessels in the shadow of the palm trees.
