There are endless sections you could choose of this interesting east-west waterway, especially between Paddington and Limehouse Basin. I like running 10.5 km from Shoreditch Park to Victoria Park (to do a loop around the park), then back. Past De Beauvoir village, with canal folk out painting their barges, it feels like you’re in the countryside. Summer evenings are really vibrant along the canal, with plenty of people making the most of the boats and pubs that line the route. Be sure to reward yourself afterwards at the Scolt Head pub in De Beauvoir village. They’ve got an awesome beer garden.

This canal is right on your door step, head down Wells road and the footpath is on the other side of the road and grass area. Walk left or right to find the footpath and steps down to it. When looking at the canal from Wells Road, if you go right (West) you're off to Little Venice (gorgeous!) and…
Stroll Regent’s Canal in either direction - enjoy canal boats, bars on canal boats, coffee from canal boats, booksellers from canal boats ... you get the picture. Also some nice bars on the towpath towards the west / Dalston
A few of minutes walk down to the canal is worth it for some calm, there's also some great canal-side spots you can pop into be that 'Word on the Water' floating bookshop or The Lighterman pub!
We love a walk or run along Regent's Canal from Victoria Park to Broadway Market. Enjoy the sight of beautiful narrow boats and if you're really ambitious, you can continue until Angel.
A stroll along the canal Enjoy breakfast and brunches at one of many cafes Pictureque scenes and natural habitats for birds, swans, wild ducks
You can join the canal about 15 mins' walk from my flat, and walk south to Limehouse Basin or north up to Victoria Park.
Regent’s Canal runs through the heart of Islington and offers a gorgeous spot to while away a sunny day. When the weather’s right, join the crowds barbecuing and drinking along the canal, or settle down at a waterside café and watch the barges go by.
Explore the highlights and hidden gems along the Regent's Canal, an 8.6-mile waterway that links Paddington Basin and Limehouse Basin. I really enjoy going there for a walk or jogging.
Part of the historical London canal network, is a great place for walks and very reach in history.
