Take a lovely route to Bosham or even just a short ride on the boat with the kids then off to the cafe or pub!

Highly recommend a ferry trip from Bosham Hoe to Itchenor. It’s only a short crossing but worth it to see the boats and then you can take a scenic walk from Itchenor along the foreshore. There’s also a great pub in Itchenor called The Ship if you wanted to combine it with a lunch stop. Please look on the Itchenor Ferry website for times and prices. We recommend parking on the corner of Smugglers Lane and Lower Hope Lane. Parking is free and a footpath will take you down to the ferry.

Catch the foot ferry across from Itchenor to Bosham and walk the 40 or so minutes to Bosham Quay and have lunch in the cafe or the Anchor Bleu - take time to pop into the historic church . Bikes are usually ok on the ferry - opens for summer and weekends - check their website to make sure they are running.
