Pizzas and sandwiches are really delicious here. People come from far and wide, but luckily for us, it’s right around the corner. If you want to try a Philly cheese steak, theirs is definitely a step above Pat’s and Geno’s.

They might have pizza in the name, but they do everything well. Their hoagies (especially the Italian) are loaded so you won't leave hungry. After lunch continue south down 9th street to walk through the Italian Market and hit up classic Philly food shops like Claudio's, Fante's, and DiBruno Brothers.

Full disclosure: I have not been to Angelo's BUT my brother swears by their cheesesteaks...and he's had cheesesteaks from several different places in Philly.
