This is where we live. It is only a 5 minute walk to this beautiful beach and wonderful parks. There is lots to do and the water is swimmable. Great parks to walk through. The long boardwalk will take you along the water. If you walk west you will walk right into what feels like a entirely different world. The path takes you through trees and along the water, you come to a marina with lots of boats to see. Along the way you can stop at fitness stations if you like. There is also a bike path or runners path that run parallel along the boardwalk. You can rent bikes at the bottom of our street to take along the path to get downtown or just go for a ride.

There is controversy amongst locals about whether this is one long beach or several short ones. Either way, visiting The Beaches you'll find beautiful sandy beach as well as many parks and restaurants a short walk away.
