Head north on Route 320 for 2.6 km Turn left onto Carr. Pacífica Fernández Oreamuno/Costanera Sur/Route 34 For 19.5 km Jacó – Main strip Jacó is a town on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, southwest of the capital city, San José. It's known for its surf beaches and nightlife, and as a gateway to national parks. Rocky, gray-sand. Southeast, Hermosa Beach has big waves.  Keep in mind Jacó is just a small surf town, but you'll find plenty of great stores and boutiques throughout the area, mainly on the Avenida Pastor Diaz.  Some of the local art is absolutely amazing. Local woods, custom clothing, jewelry and plenty of Costa Rican souvenirs can be found throughout town.
