Morningstar Golf Club is tucked neatly into the seaside community of Parksville… a popular holiday destination on Vancouver Island and a great place for a relaxing golf getaway, just 25 minutes north of Nanaimo and two hours north of Victoria. With many championships to its name —including three PGA Canada events— the fairways and greens of Morningstar, were carved out of natural woodland areas under the watchful eye of award-winning course architect Les Furber. The course opened in 1991, and today you will encounter the sloping fairways, rolling undulations, well-conditioned greens, and strategically placed bunkers that were designed to challenge the potential of every golfer. Post-game (or just because you are hungry) join us at the Morningstar Grill for a pint or a glass of wine and something tasty from the menu to enjoy while you discuss the details of the day’s round… embellishing as needed!

Sitting at sea-level our 6983 yard layout plays much longer than the yardage suggests. Morningstar is definitely a championship length golf course designed by esteemed course architect Les Furber. Wide, impeccably maintained fairways and large quick undulating greens contribute to the unique character of our wonderful course. With multiple teeing options and four different length options per hole, Morningstar is designed to challenge the potential of every golfer.

The layout of Morningstar Golf Club combines all the beauty of nature and possesses a variety of tees to provide a challenge for golfers of all abilities. Course architect Les Furber designed this 7018 yard layout while integrating six links-style holes with twelve others carved out through the trees. Many natural areas have been preserved to add drama and excitement. Golfers will encounter a few sloping fairways and can anticipate well placed bunkers throughout the course. Our greens are superbly conditioned, combined with many undulations and slopes to challenge even the best of players. Morningstar is a course that all golfers will enjoy round after round. We are located just 25 minutes north of Nanaimo and two hours north of Victoria in the seaside community of Parksville.
