The DLR rocks! And shakes. When it first opened it was called the ToyTrain. Very convenient and it goes to Bank, Canary Wharf and best of all Westfield. It even drives itself. Very clever.
Great transport option with metropolitan views. Runs around The dockland area.
Great alternative way to get to Central London (Bank or Tower Gateway), especially if there are problems on the main rail links. Starts at Lewisham and has a station near Cutty Sark in Greenwich. Goes under the Thames towards Canary Wharf and has links to Stratford and City Airport. Also, for would be train drivers of all ages, as it's a driverless train, you can often get a seat in the front and pretend. For little boys and girls of all ages.
