Exhibits on everyday life of the people of Cambridge since 1700. Interesting collection of local artefacts. Good local history displays. Housed in eight rooms in a former public house.

Local history museum, telling the story of Cambridge from the point of view of ordinary folk rather than focusing on the history of the university. In Cambridge, where parking can be expensive. If you are visiting for the day we recommend park & ride or train.

Go and see how people used to live in Cambridge long ago. There are some craft workshops to get involved with of interest regularly. Also a craft/gift shop and coffee shop too.
