£55 for a family party of 4, without food and drinks. Booked on the day. Highly recommended by other friends. Open between 10-5. Stay and play as long as you like. Wellies , long sleeves, legs and cagoules in wet weather. Changed into trainers and took off the cagoules. My boys are jumping for joy and running from one activity to another. Barrels, slides into foam pit, moving slides are a hit so far. Didn’t like the big one , death slide. It’s busy but no real queues. Lots of visible staff , including first sliders, litter pickers and water being delivered to staff.we arrived at 1pm after a traffic jam, so already feel like 3 more hours will not be enough time for the boys.really easy parking, no charge and entrance plus clearly signposted toilets. The postcode for the satnav takes you to the correct road. Adults can go on some rides not all. Titanic slide is brilliant. So many happy smiling faces and memories being made. Giant seesaw wasn’t liked by the 8 year old . The new white designer T-shirt is covered in mud. Lots of older teenagers having fun too. A very different outdoor play experience, can’t remember signing a waiver form. Picnic stations high in the trees. Seats with backs for people with bad backs. I overheard another family saying “ I like it here, they’re not ripping you off every 5 minutes to buy this that and the other.” Lots of rope swings over the stream, a tunnel to climb through that the 10 year old conquered. A flash light would possibly be useful here. Fruit trees, blackberries, nettles, thistles, wood chipping floors. Farmers fields in every direction and some cows. Covered attractions for when it rains we actually only bought 4 ice creams here, they were delicious, mine was Kelly’s ice cream cone millionaires shortbread flavour. There were water stations to refill bottles near to the entrance and exit. When the site closed at 5pm, we drove 10 minutes into Chester and parked at the little roodee car park £5. Walked along the river to the boats. We managed to dine outside at the New Orleans/ Deep South restaurant on the corner. It was awesome. £70 4 meals, 5 drinks, 3 alcoholic, my first expensive cocktail for a while, 1 shared dessert, 1 pretzel starter and popcorn. A really lovely different experience, who needs to fly to America? The music was groovy. Home for 8 pm. Bath, bed, tired, happy, aching muscles. Whitney Houston’s, greatest love of all. Is an amazing power ballad, how devastating that she died of cocaine use at the age of 48.

The Crocky Trail, near Chester is a fantastic day out for the entire family. Not just a trail (although this is great fun), the Crocky Trail has so many slides, spinning wheels, rope swings and challenges. You can easily spend the day here. Feel free to take your own packed lunch or you can buy food whilst you are there. This is a fabulous fun day out!
