This great powerhouse of steel and concrete holds back the Osage river and creates the Lake of the Ozarks. On the north side, there is a beautiful scenic overlook of the lake. On the south sits the historic Lake Ozark strip with restaurants, shops, and attractions. The dam is actually visible from Harbour Towne!

The dam is what built this lake, constructed in the 1920's it's a piece of history for this country that's worth checking out.
