Drive to Sault for it's weekly market or to dine at one of it's lovely restaurants. Summit Mont Ventoux on the way there and then descend into the plain of lavender fields. If your timing is right, it will not only be the spectacular views but also, the wonderful colours which will make you catch your breath.

Lovely Provençal village behing the Mont Ventoux with the best Nougat you will ever taste made by André Boyer since 1887. Only the best ingredients and all hand made.

Nice view from the village plateau, good spot as well for some nice "Petanque" games. Eat an ice cream at "La Promenade" and enjoy the view. Market every Wednesday. Surroundings of Sault with a lot of Lavender fields (depending on time of the year).
