You HAVE to try out this female-owned business! The sisters who own the business, the “gals”, have been making excellent food and serving ice cream to the locals for years, and they have a cult following due to their famously HUGE portions! The line can be long, but that’s part of the experience. (Think Leopold’s in Savannah- but rural and with Hershey’s ice cream.) 5.7 miles

The most popular ice cream spot in Jefferson County. When you drive by and see the long line of people... there is a reason they are standing there... it's worth the short wait!! Be careful to order an amount you can handle, these cones can come loaded! Also, my niece Charisma works there, tell her hello!

You'll drive a bit but it's worth it if you like huge portions. The line will be long after dinner but it moves quickly.

Best ice cream place in the islands. Generous portions and a large variety of choices. Also available is Amish pies and breads. Antiques car show on Fridays.
