都庁 / Tokyo Metropolitan Government Tokyo Metropolitan Government ( Tocho ) is one of the main symbols of Nishi-Shinjuku. The 243-meter Twin Towers are connected by the assembly building. The building was completed in 1991, after 13 years of construction at the cost of over 1 billion USD. It was the tallest building in Tokyo until Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi overtook that position in 2007. The panoramic views of TOKYO SKYTREE, Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Dome, Meiji Shrine, and Mount Fuji can be seen from the free observation decks. The Tourist Information Center is located on the ground floor for your assistance in English.
