The American Maple Museum, located in the Village of Croghan, portrays the history of the maple industry through numerous exhibits of artifacts and equipment used to make maple syrup and its products.

This small local museum is a great place to visit when you’re in town getting ice cream. I’m the winter the museum hosts pancake breakfast and “wax on snow” events, where you can taste the local favorite: warm maple syrup drizzled on fresh packed snowballs.
