Free kayak or canoeing on the river 10am-2pm Memorial Day to Labor Day. But go early, bc sometimes you have to wait your turn. Super friendly and will give instruction before you launch out.

Founded in 1902, the Inwood Canoe Club is the oldest canoe and kayak club in Manhattan! Every Sunday from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, the Inwood Canoe Club invites members of the public who can swim to join them for a guided, 20-25 minute kayak tour of the Hudson River just north of the George Washington Bridge. They paddle from 10:00 to 12:00, but guests are asked to arrive between 9:30 and 11:15 to ensure they get a spot. No prior experience is needed, and all equipment is provided. It is an absolute must-do - the views from the river surface are incredible!
