The place to visit if you want an expansive view the Heretaunga Plains, The Ruahine and Kaweka Ranges, and Cape Kidnappers. On a clear day you will see Mount Ruapehu.

great walking tracks halfway up. mountain bike tracks too. Or great for a drive to the top for a birds eye view of the Hawkes bay

A must do while in Havelock. Spectacular 360deg views over Hawke’s Bay. You can drive to the top but better walk from either the bottom carpark on Tainui or the second car park halfway up. Myriad of tracks to choose from to suit various fitness levels. The jewel in the crown of Havelock. (Go early as the car parks fill up)
