fab ride up to the West Hill - great play park for kids up there and amazing views across the old town if you walk over the hill. There are castle ruins up to the left when you come out of the lift too.

The West Hill Lift retains its original wooden Victorian coaches, and also runs through a tunnel, very unusual for a funicular. Visit Hastings Castle by taking a trip on the West Hill Cliff Railway. Tickets are £4.20 for adults and £2.40 for children.
