Spacious house in an excellent, quiet residential area only 10mins walk to Supermarket or Train station. House interior is getting a little tired and could do with a little TLC in areas, but the bedding and towels were pristine… the shower unit is very difficult to work. Overall however a good value listing.

The problem in locating the property was simply that the original confirmation from Airbnb gave the wrong address - it said 10 Cowley Place. My partner arrived in Oxford before me, and spent two cold and increasingly annoyed hours looking for it there! We only found it at all because she messaged me, I looked at the most recent message from Short Let Space (via Airbnb) and saw that it said 10 Cowley Road.

This kind of mistake is really not acceptable, and I will be very cautious about using Airbnb in future. Please note that as far as I can see the problem is with Airbnb and not with Short Let Space themselves.

We had a wonderful stay in this spacious, nicely furnished, and spotless flat. It perfectly matched the description. The location is ideal — less than a 10-minute walk to both the train station and the city center, in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. We also appreciated that the concierge checked in the day after our arrival to make sure everything was fine. Oxford is a lovely city with amazing people, and this flat made our visit even better.

We had a wonderful stay! The place is very cozy, beautifully decorated, and absolutely clean. The hosts are super friendly and even provided a folder with great local tips and some lovely little treats. The area isn’t touristy at all – very authentic, which we really appreciated. Perfect for two friends or a couple. The interior feels like something straight out of a British rom-com – warm and charming. Everything you need is there. A truly cool place that we can highly recommend!
