We loved this place so much!!!!! Host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The house is gorgeous with the most beautiful surroundings. It was heavenly. Well stocked, great communication, clean and so quiet and peaceful. We cannot recommend enough. Do yourself a favor and BOOK THIS HOUSE.

We loved this weekend getaway location! We went to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and it was so peaceful and relaxing. We used the hot tub multiple times daily and it was always the perfect temperature. The outdoor TV was a refreshing change of scenery from sitting at home inside, and watching a movie with the sound of a waterfall behind us felt like true luxury. Although it was initially a bit hard to find the place, the host was extremely helpful with sending directions with screenshots, and they also provided great recommendations for nearby grocery stores and food spots. We would definitely visit again :)

We loved our stay at this cozy mountain retreat on McKenzie Way N. The home was spotless, the beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals in. Check-in was smooth with clear instructions, and the Wi-Fi was strong enough for both work and streaming.

The setting is peaceful—perfect for morning coffee on the porch and stargazing at night. It’s a great base for exploring Old Fort, Black Mountain, and the surrounding trails. The host was friendly and responsive, with thoughtful touches that made the place feel welcoming.

A quick note for travelers: this is mountain country, so expect some curvy roads; if the forecast calls for rain or winter weather, an AWD vehicle is helpful. Otherwise, it’s easy to get around and a wonderful spot to unwind.
