We had a great stay at Margo's place, a good value in expensive Boston. It's an old building which adds to the charm for me. I love the old wainscotting and other touches from a day when buildings were made with more craftsman care.
In the apartment, everything had been thought through for our needs and/or convenience. Need a bottle brush? Aluminum foil? A throw while sitting on the couch? Look around and it's there.
Margo gave us great advice on our first-night restaurant: Fish House. Hole-in-the -wall a few blocks away-- amazing Sushi.
But my favorite thing was was the porch/balcony on a quiet alley, opposite other apartments with balconies. We drank our tea out there in the morning and a glass of wine at night. Very nice.
